Max Payne Reviews! Esjei's Cake~

Alright, now that it's monday, TP people just started school muahaha...and i'm kinda done with revising week 1 stuff, I'm gonna blog! (A nerd's) Self-reward heh heh.

Right, so yesterday, we celebrated Shu Jun's birthday. Belated birthday~ since the guy was borned on the 14th and we celebrated yesterday.

Shu Jun has been my primary school friend and secondary school friend and now, still my friend muahahaha, its either sad for him or sad for me :D

SO anyways, we (Ben, Sherd, Hiah, Reed, Jer, Eugene, me) arranged to meet him on sunday for max payne, then on the afternoon itself, a few hours before we were to meet, Sherd sms sj, while we were buying cake.

Sherd: eh, most of us cannot make it, so the thing cancelled.
SJ: ...

Then aiyah, we got tickets, then after that, went his house.

So he was suprised? to see us...haha we caught him wearing shirt and shorts...a far cry from his blazer uniform muahaha, then he knew he kena conned like jeremy's birthday then he act tough, ignore us and eat his instant noodles with egg...lololol, so we ignored him and played his WoW character and did silly stuff with it, typing rubbish on mass chat and stuff. Then he "no mood" eat, so Ben ate his noodles, on top of his subway hahaha.

Then anyways because sherd was counting down to the time left before we have to rush for movies, sj finally stop acting tough, then we celebrate birthday for him, then he ask,

"eh how to cut ah, I dunno how to cut"

durrrr lol!

After that he rushed to change and then we took train to Plaza Singapura for Max Payne.

It sucks.
Crappy Storyline.
Most of the nice parts can be found in the trailer already, so its better to just replay the trailer several times on youtube.
Most of the movie scenes are filmed in dark areas, and because of an unexplained antagonist, the suspense is always lingering around, that is, until the plot is revealed, and you think, "I've been conned" the movie from that point onwards, goes into a steeper drop into lameness, especially once you see the lame way the antagonist dies.

Btw, the antagonist is that spanish Succre guy from prison break, him trying to act fierce makes you want to burst out laughing at times. Summore, I think they plagarised Prison Break, the key to the entire plot lies with the tattoo =_=

7 of us voted after the show: It sucks, even if you're a fan of the game, it sucks. Ben is a fan of the game, and he says its nothing related to the game. Even the signiture matrix slow-mo moves were not there. so yeah.

Anways, spoilers alert!

At the end of the movie, after the credit rolls, Mark Warhlberg, the Max Payne dude enters a bar and meets the girl friend, as in female friend. then Robert Downey Junior entered the bar, he said:

So anyways, after the movie, SJ treated all 7 of us, (Jer left early), to dinner at Swensen's.

Then since his birthday we didnt want to bankrupt him, we all ordered only a cup of cold water and clam chowder...no la no la, we ate normally. Thanks again SJ.

Then walk around, before heading home.
