End

[This post is the last post dedicated to the Korean trip. After this post I am release from any obligation to post daily (not that I kept to it) and can be bothered with other stuffs :D and if you have not particularly enjoyed my korean posts, be glad that this is the last. And thanks to everyone who have visited this site. I hope I've kept you entertained for a part of your lives.]

Anyways, this last post shall concern Gyeongbokgung Palace, Prayer Mountain and Food, cauz the other days were filled with shopping and the likes, and being me, I didnt bother taking pictures of shopping places =_= it SHOULD'NT make much sense to. (as a guy)

Anyways, enough talk, presenting
Gyeongbokgung Palace!

I didnt listen much, but apparently it's a palace that kept being burnt down that only some parts were from the original structure are left.

When we reached, just nice they passing over the guard duty, so got to see some marching stuffs.

Anyways, the stone above is the rank that the REAL Da Changin got in life, in history, she got to the third highest official rank, so erm, "zeng shan ping" very impressive, if you learn the context and stuff.

Then remember my painting? I found a tree that looks almost like it hahaha, now i got justification for the tree :D

Anyways, they have a palace on a lake or moat or whatever la lol. So took some shots.

Then right, we chanced upon a Discovery Channel team filming there, so we watched them act and stuff, the we discovered...some of the crew were from Singapore! Here's the conversation I had with them...

Discovery Guy: You folks from Singapore (cauz he heard us speak)
Me: yeah! are you?
Discovery Guy: yeah, you guys from Jurong?
Me: Nope, Pasir Ris.
Discovery Guy: awww, I live there, WESTSIDE ROCKS MAN. Alright see you around gtg, filming summore nice meeting you~
Me: [:D] alright see you~ nice meeting you too!

[Inner Me: =_= ... west side.... !@^%$#&@$%$&]

Discovery Filming

So eh, that done, next is PRAYER MOUNTAIN!

On day 7 we got the day to ourselves, so we decided to go to Prayer Mountain, a mountain that is famous among the christians there because you can easily feel God's presence there and stuff.

So we decided to visit...

Then while queuing up for the shuttle bus there, some old lady randomly gave me, ONLY ME, this coupon for rice...I took it as a sign for something hahaha

So anyways, when we reached there, there were alot of church complexes but we went searching for these grottos - places dug out from the mountain itself that gave you the privacy that you need to pray and stuff, Prayer Mountain is known for these grottos, so we finally found it.

See, through the tiny window, you can see that the room is really so small, enough for you to kneel and stuff and thats it, here, people have been crying out to the Lord and praying and stuff, really fantastic stuff. budden it was locked...so we couldnt pray and stuff. But beware those who are ever interested to come here, got ALOT of bugs. serious, very eeky-yucky, so many. Q_Q

For fun picture of me coming out from the grotto

Now, the last part of my post, FOOD.

Needless to say, the above is kimchi, the super healthy food that is listed as the world's top 5 healthiest food beside tofu, curry, miso and one more, cant remember

Kimchi Fries

hahaha jkjk luh, its just fries that i put some kimchi on :D

GINSENG CHICKEN

Awesome stuff, haha, if you want try, go takashimaya there, the crystal jade restaurant they got sell.

My favorite part is the glutinous rice that they stuffed into the chicken *mouth watering*

Their mixed rice stuff, if my hearing is correct its bi bi fan or BB or Pi Pi *rice* something liddat la lol, i lazy google/search it to correct myself. Its some mixed rice that you just scramble it up to
eat, really awesome, but i prefer the one they served on the plane, nicer :X

Cactus Taffy from Jeju

Boar meat, first time ever...from Jeju also.

Then Then, 32 CM ICECREAM hahaha, seoul street food, heh we thought it was awesome enough already, then later we walk for awhile more, we saw 33 CM ICE CREAM hahaha, but still, for roughly 1 dollar ++ quite worth it haha.

Available in more variaties then Mac's too, summore that one 70 cents =_= . tsk.
